The finale of the four station awards ended with a bang, although marred by continuous dispute in royalty fees. As Eason Chan was not under the TVB umbrella (he’s with Universal Music), the award is up for grabs for Leo Ku and Raymond Lam. The big winner tonight no doubt would be Joey Yung, who took home most of the song awards on offer, as well as the coveted Most Popular Female Singer award. One of the surprise of the night is that Twins did not get any awards for the Most Popular Group Award. As a result, both EEG and East Asia seems furious when their artistes failed to win any major awards. Seems like the dispute will not be resolved any time soon.
